Beginnings are hard.
But they can also be fun. During the pandemic I cleaned out my closet and donated or tossed out just about ALL of my clothes and shoes because I had a “wardrobe” that just didn’t work for me and where I am in this phase of my life.
1. Why this, why now
So going back to beginnings being fun. Once I stripped my closet down to what pieces would work going forward I started intentionally building a wardrobe. This is forcing me to experiment with color palettes, cuts, accessories and I’m discovering I LOVE IT! There have been hits and misses but I am truly rediscovering myself through fashion.
2. What kind of community I’m looking to build here
I’m an introvert, very internal and introspective. I’ve always approached change as something that has to be started from the inside to manifest on the outside. This process has completely changed that paradigm for me. I’ve learned external change can be just as enlightening as the internal work I use to prioritize. I want to share my “A-HA” moments and deep dives on style and fashion and hope they entertain or even inspire you to take action and join me on a “mission” or two.
3. What should you expect
My posting schedule is still under evaluation but my intention is to post weekly. That includes not just a newsletter but also podcasts, notes or videos.
4. What is this “process” or “mission” you keep referring to
My content will showcase a methodical method to building a wardrobe 1 Piece At A Time; not one haul at a time, not one trend at a time. My goal is to build the ultimate timeless, versatile, fun wardrobe that make me excited to put my on clothes every single day.

Thanks Elaine! I love your declutter method. It’s concise and definitive. If you haven’t noticed I just posted on my method to find a signature scent. Hope you enjoy.
2 years ago I moved cross country, sold all my furniture, and decided to winnow my wardrobe down to what I felt great in. I summed my wardrobe up in three words - timeless sexy comfort - and if it didn't hit one of those it got tossed. About to another wardrove go through, and I can't wait to read more about how you chose a signature scent (mine just got discontinued) and a lip color (I'm terrified of lipstick...) Great timing on finding you, can't wait to read more!
